I'm an English major transferring to a four-year university this fall. One of my old high school teachers is friends with someone who is big in marketing and affiliated with the school. She says she got work through him for a student who was good at photography and that they always need people who can write. Of course I told her I was interested, but I was not sure exactly what sort of writing was needed in marketing. She wasn't sure either but is convinced they could make use of me. I'm still curious as to what sort of requirements are sought and what responsibilities would be potentially mine.

I'm kind of recent to this website and found it interesting to answer questions for an hour a day when I have the time. My answers usually come from the knowledge that I have obtained through the books that I've read on topics such as psychology, business, marketing etc. I wondered is there a way to post some affiliate link to the source of my knowledge so people could buy the whole book and eventually I could make a buck. Is it allowed actually by the Yahoo terms. I tried to register for Amazon affiliates but they require a website and lots more data and I just need something like a link to post, since i don't have website or blog for that purpose. So can you come up with some other ideas on how this could be done. Thank you.

Is there any degree that would ALMOST guarantee me a job out of college? Is English or Psych or Sociology a good major for this job market,since it's all I'm interested in? I SUCK at math so you can count Engineering out, or any other math affiliated degree. And I say English because that is my strong subject and I love writing, and it is the only I guess talent that people have noticed. Hey, I'm currently studying my alevels but have really big ambitions in life. I know that you have to work hard in any industry but it feels as if I'm not doing a lot, action wise. I'm really keen on the whole business idea and please don't laugh, but the closest I've come is selling a few items I found out and about on eBay. Affiliate marketing didn't really work and I just don't want to waste time doing things that won't help me earn money in business. Starting out seems to be one of the hardest things! I've got the idea alright of how you need a niche market, a product within that market and traffic to get to your website to sell that product. I know about eBooks, affiliate marketing and the like. I even have a plan that I want to earn from the Internet full time in two years. I can see this in the statistics of my Affiliate Network. However, my affiliate Network tells me I have to wait for 2 months until the orders are approved before I will get paid. First you need to setup a new Facebook account. You don’t want to lose you actual account if this goes wrong, so make a new one. Add a nice looking picture as your profile of someone who looks real. Lots of people are vein with facebook friend numbers and want to look like they know lots of people, so will happily add you if your normal enough looking. Once you have a good amount of friends, you setup a fan page about your niche topic. Something like weight loss is good, or acne if you have lots of younger friends. Title your page with a catchy title that has good keywords, as it will show in facebook search. Now suggest your page to all of your new friends. When someone “likes” your page, a link goes in their newsfeed saying they like your page. If you get enough likes things can go viral here and it can grow pretty fast. Hello everyone, I am wondering what it the quickest method to make money, without filling in online surveys. I've looked into sweepstakes (I am Australian), so if suggested wesites, please suggest only sites from AUSTRALIA. I'm new to this affiliate marketing business and just thought I'd seek some advice on how to go about this the correct way. My goal is to direct traffic to one website in particular and promote their product in exchange for a commission on sales, so I came up with the simple idea to first create a Facebook "Interest" page for the product being sold on the site using my regular account. Next, I would login using a separate account (under a different name and email) and post links to the website on the page in hopes that some who 'like' the product would be interested in paying the site a visit. Is this a good or bad marketing strategy? If it isn't the best idea, are there better methods? As I mentioned before, I'm new to this. One last thing I need to know that's unrelated to the main question but still important, is it a violation of Facebook policy to have two seperate accounts with two different emails?

I work as part of a production crew for an audio publishing company. Our company sells our product to distributors who in turn sell it to Amazon.com and various other internet stores. Amazon offers an affiliate program to sell any of their products on personal websites. Would I be breaking any laws If I were to create a review website of only my companies products and in-turn sell them to the public through affiliate marketing on amazon? Technically I would be competing against their established website for sales, but at the end of the day my company still wins because they are the ones moving product out. But would me being an employee here have any legal aspect which could stop me from doing this? Also, would I be able to put the companies name in the URL? The reason i am asking these questions is because I recently have taken interest in affiliate marketing. The smaller the competition the better. With a small company on its way up, this could possibly be a gold mine in a few years.

I am an affiliate marketer, i do marketing manually, right now i am marketing for one of the freelance project provider who pay commission introducing them employers who sign up using credit card. I got more than 50 sales last month but only around 100 clicks. Now company is investigating my account whether i did fake marketing or what? but i did right. my method is new , you can say.. how can i convince to company.. company has asked me this question.. I'm thinking of trying out some affiliate marketing and I was thinking of trying to advertise a book. The exact domain of the book is taken, probably by the author, but the plural form of it isn't. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find out (or if you know your law) if I would legally be allowed to run the plural url as an affiliate site where I advertise the book and post reviews, etc... Ok, I'm kind of new to the whole blogging and advertising, but I been researching and talking with bloggers who make around $3,000 per month with their blog(s) in less than a months time. I'm aware of the hard work that needs to be done to make that type of money so fast... But it's possible. I don't need any jerks telling me it's impossible when obviously people are doing everyday to make a living, but here's what I need to know. Me and my team have made 20 blogs and 6 websites not yet published, all of the blogs are set up with highly quality content, they are all about the same topic, which is very popular. We expect to get 1,000 visitors per day, due to our twitter account we have 200,000 followers and is growing. Now my question is, besides the affiliates and the pay per click ads. I am a licensed insurance agent. From 2010 - 2011, I was working with an insurance agency. The insurance agency got me appointed with AB Insurance to write final expense for families. Over the course of the last 7 months, through no fault of mine, I have accumulated close to $17,000 worth of a debit balance with AB Insurance due to families either cancelling their policies or allowing them to lapse. During the time that I was still appointed with AB Insurance, I initiated on my own, to be placed on a Co-op Repayment Plan (25/75) to start repaying this debit balance. I did this because I wanted to remain in good standing and good faith with AB Insurance. During that time that I was working with the insurance agency, I was not aware that the agency had accumulated over $100,000 in debit balance, which did not include my own debit balance. Because of this longstanding, large debit balance with AB Insurance, the insurance agency was suddenly and unexpectedly terminated, without prior notice, from writing any policies for AB Insurance any longer. Along with the insurance agency being terminated from AB Insurance, included were all agents affiliated with the insurance agency. In March 2012, I received a letter in the mail stating that my appointment with AB Insurance was terminated effectively immediately, with no further explanation. Meanwhile, I was still on my Co-op Repayment Plan with AB Insurance and was still repaying my debit balance. However, because I was terminated, I was no longer allowed to write policies for AB Insurance; and therefore, could not fulfill my written contractual agreement of the Co-op Repayment Plan with them. Since the termination, AB Insurance has not given me the opportunity to negotiate another payment plan, so that I can avoid being reported to Vector. I even spoke with the Vice President, Regional Sales/Special Markets, asking if they would reappoint me, so that I can remain on the Co-op Repayment Plan, but was refused. They indicated that I was 'high-risk.' In addition, I spoke with the Sales Account Executive of AB Insurance, asking if I could be reappointed with them, so that I can get hired to work with a particular company that was using AB Insurance as their insurance carrier. However, they, too, denied me the opportunity to be reappointed. Therefore, based on their decision, I was not able to get hired by the other company, and lost the job opportunity. I am seeking legal advice/counsel in this matter. I'm trying to get back in good standing with AB Insurance and be taken off Vector. Being reported to Vector will have grave consequences on my insurance license, and my livelihood, as this is my only source of income that I earn, as an insurance agent. I feel that AB Insurance did not operate in an ethical manner, and did not give me a fair opportunity to repay them after terminating my appointment with them.

I generally do not do affiliate marketing but I need to make some extra money and know this is a good way to do it. What are some affiliate programs that are out there right now that are doing well and is there any way that you're finding to get them going? I know most people guard their honey hole tightly but thought there may be someone out there that has run out of funds or just otherwise wouldn't mind sharing some expertise. I am looking for something that YOU Have had success with. If you know of anything that is actually 1. paying well 2. paying fast (about 15 days is fine) 3. is a good product I can search for affiliate links and have signed up with several but nothing seems to convert as well as some of the stuff I used to sell. I'm split testing 10-40 sales letters and articles but not coming up with good products... maybe my expectations are just too high, but making 10% every day of what I did 2 years ago seems a little silly.

I live in New Jersey and I'm really interested in gettting invovled into internet marketing as a change in career (evenually), but I have heard that the Nexus Laws in many states have limited many people who use affilate marketing. Many have lost their affiliations with sites like Amazon for example, and with it lots of money. The silver Lining is that many people can get around the law by Incorporating in Nevada or Delaware and not even have to worry about their state tax. I'm concerned because New Jersey is trying to pass a Nexus Law so the state could get revenue, but Amazon would follow suit and drop all the affiliates in that state like they have done before. My question is how much do these Nexus Laws affect me, and what can I do to put myself in the best position?
